Kristi & The A-Team

Kristi & The A-Team

It’s not very often that I embrace spontaneity because I like structure, however this shoot with Kristi is an example of the greatness that can come of it. When I found out Kristi would be passing through town, I knew I wanted to meet up and hear about her amazing travels across the globe.  Kristi and I went out for Sushi at Wasabi and we were shortly after joined by Kristi’s brother Tyler! We had a blast hanging out and talking about anything and everything. It was such a fun, chill experience. That’s the vibe I wanted for our impromptu shoot. The goal was to have a fun, laid-back experience- if we got something, great. If we didn’t, no big deal.

I called upon a few friends to see if they’d be interested in participating in our just-for-the-hell-of-it shoot and I was completely blown away by the talent that we brought together. Dylan Harrison provided hair and makeup, and he did a fabulous job taking our scrambled ideas and turning them into a reality. Jason Siebles brought his skillful knowledge of lighting techniques to push the imagery to a whole new level, and Kisti blew us away with her modeling talent. More importantly, we had a blast hanging laughing and enjoying some beer. That’s what made this shoot so special to me. It was a chance to bond with a group of incredibly talented people who share the same level of passion for their craft. These people are truly gifted and I am honored to know them. They’re my A-Team.
